Well, It Looks Like I’m Going To Do It

Earlier this week, I went to Valdosta, Georgia to meet with Steve Nichols. He is the radio talk show host who used to have me as a guest the last Friday of every month. I have posted links to some of my appearances on his show here on TRTC. Steve wanted to announce that I have agreed to host my own video show, and I did. Here is a link to that 7/29/2022 show:

After the show, I met with Steve and his partner and we hammered out an initial agreement. I am currently working to set up my studio now. I hope to have the studio put together by Friday, August 5. If I can make that happen, we will get my studio linked to Steve’s network and start testing it so we can go live on Monday, August 15. At first, I will be doing a 2 hour show, Monday — Friday, from 8 — 10 AM, CST. However, the goal is to make it a 3 hour show. If things go well, I will be able to take calls from the first day.

I am going to confess: the studio is a compromise. I was not able to make the internet work fast enough at my house. AT&T couldn’t deliver on their promised up-load speeds. So, until I can fix the problem, I will be broadcasting from a temporary studio closer to town. This will mean a 25 minute drive each way every day, but I can deal with that — unless Biden decides we need to pay even more for gasoline than he already has. So, at first, the show will not look like much, but I will work hard to correct that as quickly as possible. Besides, I am going to need a few weeks to get my feet under me, so the first few weeks will be a breaking-in period for me, anyway.

Once I master the broadcasting part of things, I will be up-grading TRTC. It will get a new look, be linked to the network I will be on, and I will start writing regular posts again. The idea — at least for now, anyway — is to use the show and the blog in conjunction. I hope to educate and to teach in a way that will keep your attention, but, more importantly, help you to acquire the tools you need to make better sense out of the chaos that is becoming our modern world. We’ll just have to see how well I manage to deliver as, without an audience, this will go nowhere — FAST! But, if things actually work, then I plan to make the show and this blog my job. I’ll dedicate all my efforts to it and my current business will fade away.

Anyway, stay tuned. I’ll update you again as soon as I have something more to report.

IT MIGHT FINALLY HAPPEN!

Dear Readers;

I have been threatening to start a video portion of this blog for a while. Well, it looks like it is finally going to happen. Up until now, I had been limited by my internet speeds. Living in the country, I did not have the upload speed necessary to live stream. However, an AT&T technician came to check on our current equipment today and he told me there is a solution to my problem. There always has been, it’s just that he is the first person in 5 years to tell me what it is. So, long story cut short: they are coming to switch me to an internet service that will handle live video from my office. I should be good to go by this Friday.

Steve Nichols has asked me to be a contributor to a new, privately run media network he has started. Some of you might remember that Steve was a talk radio host in Valdosta, Georgia. I used to sit in as his guest the last Friday of every month. You can still find links to some of my shows on this blog. Anyway, I have accepted Steve’s invitation. I’ll be traveling to the Hahira, Georgia area tomorrow afternoon. I’ll be on Steve’s show Thursday morning, followed by a meeting with him and his technical counter-part afterward. With a little luck and some hard work, we’ll get all the bugs ironed out and my show will go live on his network sometime next week or or early the following week (Aug 4-15).

Once I meet with Steve and his partner, I’ll have a better idea of what equipment I will need. I’ll get it ordered as soon as I know what to buy. I have two people here locally, both of whom know how to set it up and have offered to help. Once my ‘studio’ is built, and we are ready to go live, we’ll coordinate with Steve to link us to his network. When that gets finished, I should be live every week day (M-F) from 0800 — 1000 CST. I should even be able to take calls from day one!

I’ll confess: now that it looks like it will actually happen, I am excited about the idea. I am nervous about the capital outlay in both time and money, especially in our current environment. But that is more than offset by the anticipation of possibly getting to speak with some of my long-term readers live, on the air!

Once I start with the daily shows, I will make every effort to resume active blogging. I will link the show and this blog so they are mutually supporting. The biggest problem I foresee is finding a way to grow the show. I have a hang-up when it comes to self-promotion, and this sort of thing is largely about being able to promote yourself. Still, if I can figure out how to promote the show in a way I can handle, I have no doubt it will grow. Growth is the key to the whole thing. I cannot keep things going for more than 6 months to a year without finding a way to monetize the show, and we cannot monetize the show until we have a solid base of listeners/readers. Still, if this is what God means for me to do, it will work itself out — somehow. I’m not going to worry about it right now. I’m just going to focus on getting things going and we’ll take the next step(s) from there.

I’ll share more about my plans for the show as soon as I get back from meeting with Steve tomorrow. Until then, I would really like to hear from any of you who have thoughts about content for the show. At the moment, I am thinking about ‘Fallacy Fridays,’ where we cover the many different types of logical fallacies and how they are used against us in our daily life. I’d also like to cover the week’s headlines every Friday, where I read sections of selected stories and share my perspective on how to understand whatever issue that story addresses. What else would make for a good, educational and reoccurring segment on the show? Come-on, share your thoughts. I need to know how I can best serve you in my future video efforts.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: ‘Liberal World Order,’A Lesson In Boasting Double-Speak

This is not only a lesson in how ‘They’ will openly boast about what They plan to do to you, but also in the fallacy of equivocation. Please, pay close attention to this lesson. This happens more often than you may realize.

First, watch this video clip:

Now, on the surface, this clip may sound to some like he is speaking about the Progressive World Order. That is because he is! However, he thinks he is fooling people. He thinks that the average listening will hear ‘Liberal’ and think ‘Classic Liberal,’ like our Founding Fathers. Why do I say this? Because that is what Biden is alluding to here in this next clip:

NOW TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS REALLY BEING SAID HERE:

OK< now, Biden is explaining what the majority of those rational people among us believe: that the Classic Liberal world order (i.e. The Western world) is what led to the prosperity of the 20th Century. By most objective analysis of history, this is the correct understanding. But that is not what he really means! This is a ‘dog whistle.’

By ‘dog whistle,’ I mean that Biden is saying something he knows most people will take one way, but he is actually talking to a different, smaller audience in a way only they will hear and understand — in the same way only dogs can hear a dog whistle. When Biden says ‘Liberal World Order,’ he knows most of us will hear, ‘Western World Order,’ and we will agree and accept his words that way. But Biden’s true audience will hear ‘Progressive World Order’ and understand him this way. The two ideologies are diametrically opposed to each other, but he is using the same world to allude to one while actually speaking about the other. This is classic double-talk, a very common, Progressive tactic.*

What the Progressive does is hook you with a word he or she knows has a known meaning in your head. Usually, the Progressive will pick a word that he or she knows has a positive connotation and, if possible, emotional connection for the masses. Then, the Progressive will assign his or her own meaning to that word. This way, the Progressive can now talk openly to his or her Progressive friends, like in a public speech, knowing the masses will hear one thing and agree with it, but their Progressive friends will hear and know what is really being said. The classic example of this is the very use of the word, ‘progress.’ It is why we call them ‘Progressives:’ because they chose to sell their regressive agenda to America under the idea of actual progress. America heard ‘progress’ and thought about technological, scientific and economic progress when the Progressive actually meant incremental progress toward the regressive notion of collectivism under a Progressive dictatorship.

This practice occurs all the time these days. But, if you do not know history — especially the history of the Progressive (i.e. Communist) agenda — you will not see and understand it. You have to know their language and, to learn their language, you have to know their history. You also have to read their literature. Sadly, however, most Americans simply refuse to bother educating themselves. They would rather accept the lie and keep watching all the many forms of distraction the Progressive agenda feeds them.

Now, to close this post, I want to explain how I know this is all Progressive propaganda: an open lie. In the first clip, Deese says we have to pay high gas prices to preserve the Liberal World Order. If he truly meant Liberal in the Classic Liberal sense, then this comment would make no sense. In the Classic Liberal world, the energy sector would not be directed by the government. It would be allowed to operate freely, solving the demand for energy in many ways. First, oil companies would be given free access and permission to drill as much oil as they could. But other energy sources that have been squashed by private/government partnership (i.e. Fascism) would be allowed to develop: sources such as electric, but also natural gas and hydrogen cells. Even better carburetors that provide much higher fuel efficiency would be permitted on the market. But these things are not allowed because we are not under a free (and, therefore, Classic Liberal) world order. We are under a Progressive (and therefore, regressive) world order.

When you know more about the reality of this world, especially history, it is almost impossible for ‘Them’ to lie to you. But then, it will also get you labeled as a ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ (yet another ‘Them’ tactic 🙂 ).

*This is is also called, the fallacy of equivocation.
