China is a major source of rare earth metals.  These metals are crucial to the production of computer chips and semi-conductors.  Well, as part of the trade war that will be coming with the new Trump Administration, China is apparently restricting the flow of these rare earth metals (REM).

If you re a regular at TRTC, you may also remember that we told you these same rare earth metals are used in the manufacture of ‘renewable energy,’ and that, if we become too dependent upon ‘renewable energy,’ China would eventually be able to control us in much the same way Russia controls Europe through natural gas.

The question at hand is:

Why do our ‘leaders’ insist on intentionally placing the U.S. in a position where it can be crippled or even controlled by foreign powers hostile to our very existence?
