So, what is my point? The point is simple: a large part of our population is openly celebrating the cold blooded murder of another human being. And that part of our country is the part that claims they ‘love’ people. But they are correct: they do ‘love’ people. The problem lies in who they define as people:
We are at this point, and the majority of Americans do not see it, mostly because they think this applies to ‘the other side’ and not to them. Sadly, it applies to both ‘sides.’
How has this been done? Through our schools and the media we consume — both Left and Right-wing media. But it is most insidious on the Left. Why do I say this? Because it is the Left that not only has the power, but which actively attacks those who disagree with its programming. It as ever been this way:
What we call ‘political correctness’ or ‘woke’ is nothing more than the programmed norms; the acceptable cubical in which you are allowed to ‘think.’ Our population has been programmed this way so that those who think otherwise will identify themselves, much the way true believers in The Way identify themselves to the world through the way they live.
So, getting back to our links: the point is simple. A large part of our society is depraved, and they cannot see that they are depraved. They openly celebrate the murder of another human being and expect to be applauded for their ‘morality.’ This is not an isolated case. The same can be said for various sexual depravities currently infecting our culture, as well as the lawlessness at all levels of our government and other social organs. BLM and ANTIFA are allowed to commit open acts of terrorism and get praised for it on TV. People are allowed to loot, steal other people’s homes, and invade our nation and then live at the expense of the citizens. We are a dead nation walking and we do not even see it.
The simple truth is that we have turned what is right on its head and we now celebrate wrong, evil and lawlessness. How did this happen? Well, we divorced ourselves from the only source of moral law…

Deuteronomy 5:6-21 6 ‘I am Adonai your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
(1.) 7 ‘You shall not have other gods beside Me.
(Here’s some possible examples to consider of putting other things, people, or causes that can become like an idolterist god that gets elevated above God rather than passionately seeking after our Creator, Yah:
Materialism, riches, possessions, one’s intelligence, pridefulness, greediness, the love of money, gambling, drunken/drug parties, food, bulimia, illicit sex, politics, war, patriotism, hatred, living in constant fear, revengfulness, abusiveness of one’s authority and power to dominate over others, kingdom building, governments, jobs, careers, fame, music, movies, education, degrees, awards, science, extreme competitiveness, gifted skills, sports, astrology, sun and stars, space, fortune telling, witchcraft, demons, cults, defeatism and fault finding attitudes against others that help to build up one’s own low self esteem or poor self image, taking credit for other’s accomplishments or even Yah’s, compulsively complaining and comparing, ungratefulness, the rich and famous, leaders, teachers, criminals, gangs, movie stars, other religions and their false gods, philosophy, and false prophets, worshipping Yah’s creation instead of Yah, lawless and rebellious attitudes, completely forgetting all about Yah. Or if there’s anything else that may excessively and compulsively cause someone to seek after and focus on it more than our Creator such as fame, unforgiveness, pornography, human trafficking, prostitution, adrenaline addicting violent action movies, reality shows, and even some computer gaming.
Matthew 7:13-14 TLV. 13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, (as listed above), and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. 14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the way that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
I Corinthians 6:9-10…don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, those who practice homosexuality, 10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, slanderers, swindlers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.
Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalm 50:22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
Matt 6:33 KJV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…(keepers of Yah’s 10 Commandments are also called the righteous)
(2.) 8 ‘Do not make for yourself a graven image—no image of what is in the heavens above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 9 Do not bow down to them or worship them. For I, Adonai your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and on the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, 10 but showing lovingkindness to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My mitzvot. (10 Commandments).
(Nowadays we need to be extremely careful about what we choose to watch on TV, see in magazines, and on the internet. Focusing too much attention on these electronic graven images can have an effect on anyone’s mind. This could also be the root cause of some very powerful addictions that lead to strong beliefs in pure fantasy. Why do you think that we are always being bombarded with stubborn, endless, repetitious, advertising? Mistakenly, most of us have underestimated the power of seductive and repetitious electronic images, but advertisers know this powerful influence all too well by just looking at their company bottom line enormous profits. What they don’t tell you is that these repeated electronic generated images will harden our hearts against Yah and prevent us from coming to Him in humble repentance. Flirtatious seductive movies and advertisements can lead to habit-forming idolatry and serious consequences for everyone involved in one’s family. Repeat anything, even a lie, long enough and our weak minds will soon believe it. So, at the very least, to provide for some protection we all need to learn how to use the remote control power off and mute buttons, and even unplug it as if a lightning storm were about to hit the house at any moment. Deuteronomy 6:8-9 indicates that our hearts and minds are so vulnerable that we need to even wear a 10 Commandments bracelet and also have them posted in our house doorway and gates. Otherwise we can completely forget about them and even forget Yah. Sadly, this is what has happened throughout much of the world today as seen by the steady increase of lawlessness, corruption, and crime almost everywhere.)
Psalm 78:5-8 5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: 6 That the generation to come might know them (10 Commandments), even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: 7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: 8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with God.

While I agree with the sentiment of your post 100%, I would offer two thoughts.
1 — Be careful with using ‘adonai.’ Elohim’s covenant name is YHWH, and anything else — even if well intentioned — risks bringing His name to naught (a violation of another commandment).
2 — Be careful when you equate things to idols. In the Biblicl times, an idol was a small figurine thought to contain the spirit of the god (el) the idol represented. Therefore, they were literally the house of that el (god). This is not the same thing as when we put things before YHWH.
That said, I get your point and agree, which is why I just suggested caution 🙂
