Here are your show notes for today’s class:
I no longer recognize the ‘Church.’ I know there are still those in Mystery Babylon who are trying to keep the faith and walk the narrow path, but they are an increasingly smaller remnant. Sadly, when I look around, I no longer see the Body of Messiah, but the times of Noah!
For example:
Why are they ‘torn’ over this issue?
Christians must remember the real battle isn’t over who sits in the White House — it’s over who rules in God’s house. And politics should never take the throne.
Apparently, this ‘pastor’ decided to put manna before the Kingdom:
The Baptist pastor appeared to equate Musk’s policies with the ‘ugly’ actions of the devil.
This is false witness (and possibly heresy and/or blasphemy).
Maybe black pastors are ‘torn’ over Elon and DOGE because the woke Left is torn over things like this:
“What she pushed was Satanic”: About that unholy sermon at the National Cathedral
[Note: Romans 1:26-28 proves this woman to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing.]
Evil: ‘Catholics for Choice’ Use Virgin Mary to Push Abortion in Sickest Christmas Ad Ever Created
Canadian reverend tells Christians to stop calling Jesus “savior” because it might offend people
But then, MAGA has its own problems:

Here are two more stories that bother me:
Poll: Young Americans Becoming Less Religious
Less than half (48 percent) of young Americans say they are religious, including 17 percent who say they are “very religious.”
“The number of under-40 adults who are Very Religious has declined from 20 percent two years ago. By comparison, 81 percent of those 65 and older consider themselves religious, including 35 percent who are Very Religious,” according to the survey report.
The survey found that more men than woman say they are religious, 61 percent to 57 percent, with women under 40 most likely to say they are “not at all religious.”

Judges 2:10 (NASB)10 All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and another generation rose up after them who did not know YHWH, nor even the work which He had done for Israel.
Study: Most American teens are “very motivated” to know more about Jesus Christ, but there’s a catch
A number of discipleship opportunities present themselves in this data. American Gen Z, of varying levels of commitment to Jesus, may be lacking instruction on how to follow Jesus and to find meaning in the words of Christ and in scripture. Additionally, in the absence of trusted guidance, nominal Christian teens may attempt to take on the task of discipleship as a solo endeavor.

Who is going to teach those who are seeking? Jordan Peterson and Russel Brand? Well, at least they call Yeshua the Savior and talk about sin and the need to repent. But these two men, both big in the Gen z age group, are relatively new believers and in need of discipleship, themselves. So, from what I’ve seen, they are all in the same boat of trying to teach themselves.
Which brings us to the topic of today’s show:
Where can you turn to find help studying the Scriptures that you can actually trust?
