I have not read Miller’s book yet. I like the ‘concordism’ of Dr. Hugh Ross’s books. It seems to me that Genesis 1 gives us the ‘table of contents’ for the book of nature, in a very condensed form and in the right sequence, and leaves it up to us to fill in and update the book of natural history.
If one chooses to look at Genesis that way, I am not going to stand in the way. However, I am thoroughly convinced that the author(s?) and original audience would not have viewed Genesis in that light. To them, it would have been all about cosmic theology. I’ll explain on the show. 🙂 –B3A
