The following is a partial list of linked articles which I consulted in writing the lesson plan for today. While I read all of them, I did not study them in minute detail. So, there may well be some smaller matters with which I may not agree but, on the whole, I did not find anything alarming enough to prevent me from using it. Just as a note of my method: I try to read as many different perspectives on a given subject or issue as possible, then I hold them against my understanding of Scripture. Where there is a conflict with sound doctrine, I discard that understanding. But, when there is a smaller disagreement over words or understandings that do not contradict sound doctrine, I follow Paul’s words:

The bottom line is that false prophets bring a message that is not from God. Their message contradicts what God instructs, often appealing to our earthly cravings or passions. And ultimately, they produce “bad fruit.”
