I know that the country’s attention is split between the LA fires and incoming Trump Administration, but I keep seeing a pattern in all of this that takes me back almost 100 years.
I want to start by drawing your attention to the following stories:

Now, some of these stories are nowhere near as troubling as the headlines make them out to be. However, taken together, they do espouse a feeling of what could be called ‘Trump Mania,’ especially the lead story about Trump being a miracle from God. He may well be, but I would have to ask, “Which god?”
But let’s set all that aside for the moment and look at the LA fires. I posted an article about this yesterday:

Now, I realize this article may seem insensitive to some, but you should read it before jumping to any conclusions. I was focusing on the political agenda that has controlled California ever since Reagan left it and the Left took over. It is this Left-Wing agenda that created the conditions which have led directly to the worsening fire seasons in California. This is why the current fires were so predictable: because the deliberate policies of the Left made them inevitable. Those who know California and the Left know this to be true.
Now, how are the LA fires and the incoming Trump Administration connected? Well, I see patterns (not direct comparisons, patterns) between the conditions represented in all the stories I’ve posted and the Weimar Republic of Germany, some 100 years ago.
OK, let’s get this out in the open right now:
Unless you are a history buff, this is not going to be an easy topic to digest. It is long and complicated, and I am not going to try to teach it in any depth here. I am going to provide links for those who want to take a slightly deeper look at the issues I am going to discuss, but, for the most part, I am just going to focus on the patterns I see based on my knowledge of history. The end of the Weimar Republic
Let’s set the stage. It is the end of WW I and Germany has been convinced to surrender. However, in part, they surrendered because of a lie. Enter Woodrow-freaking-wilson:

If German nationalists during the Weimar Republic could have overheard what Woodrow Wilson told the British prime minister, David Lloyd George, two weeks before the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, it would have confirmed what they had believed all along: it was Wilson s deepseated hatred of Germany that had led him deliberately to deceive and betray the German people by promising them a “peace without victory” and imposing upon them a treaty of infamy.
this ‘Treaty of Infamy’ is the Treaty of Versailles, and it set the stage for the rise of Adolf Hitler and the start of WW II.
The Treaty of Versailles Punished Defeated Germany With These Provisions
Some disarmed the German military, while others stripped the defeated nation of territory, population and economic resources, and forced it to admit responsibility for the war and agree to pay reparations.
The Treaty of Versailles was heavily influenced by Wilson’s irrational hatred of Germany and the false assertion that Germany was responsible for starting WW I. The war was actually started by international forces closely connected to the Fabian Socialists who wanted to re-draw national boundaries and re-form political alliances within Europe, but that is another story. What is important to us today is that the treaty imposed such draconian military and financial punishments on Germany that it guaranteed that this proud nation with its rich military traditions would eventually reject the treaty — and it eventually did. However, it only did so after being driven to the point of financial and social collapse.
We first have to understand that the Weimar Republic was a controlled revolution (very similar to the Progressive revolution within America). It was also a socialist form of government (again, similar to the Progressive government we now have). Struggling to pay the reparations imposed by the Treaty of Versailles, Germany eventually paid its debts by simply printing money (the same way we ‘digitize’ money we do not have today). This inevitably led to hyperinflation, which created wide-spread unemployment. Still, the Weimar Republic struggled on for a while longer until, finally, the ‘Great Depression’ created the conditions which made Germany ripe for the pickings:

The next thing we need to understand is that Socialism was part of the political fabric of Europe at this time (still is today, as it is in America). We also need to understand that Fascism is a form of Socialism, and that the two wings of the same secular humanist bird were at war within Germany in the 1920’s and early 1930’s:

That is absolutely correct: the modern ANTIFA movement in America is directly linked to the ANTIFA Communists of the Weimar Republic/ Hitler’s Germany.
Are you starting to see the patterns yet? Or why I am connecting current events to the incoming Trump Administration? If not, let’s try this:
Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party rose to power for the following reasons:
- The harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles riled many Germans, especially the guilt clause for starting WWI, and traditional political parties were tarnished by association with the signing of the treaty. Hitler promised to overturn the treaty and restore German pride.
- The fallout of the Great Depression led to mass unemployment and hyperinflation leading voters to turn to more extreme political parties.
- The weakness and ineptitude of successive Weimar Republic coalition governments.
- Hitler promised full employment through such programmes as road building and rearmament.
- In return for their support, Hitler promised business leaders lucrative state contracts such as arms manufacturing. This idea was also popular with the German Army.
- Hitler appealed to traditional German beliefs like the greatness of the nation, strong family values, and a classless society.
- Hitler promised an expansion of Germany to find new lands and Lebensraum (‘living space’) where the German people could prosper.
- Hitler used propaganda to identify what the Nazis described as common enemies of the state, such as outsiders and Jewish people who, he claimed, were holding Germany back.
- A cult of Hitler was created, which promoted the idea that he was the saviour of Germany.
- The establishment thought that by inviting Hitler to power, they could better control the Nazi phenomenon and benefit from its popularity themselves.
- Once made chancellor, Hitler used his power to eliminate rivals. He ensured the German parliament had little power and began to establish a dictatorship with himself as the undisputed head of a one-party police state.
Now, here is the source of my concern. The conditions which made Hitler possible are listed above. Be honest and ask yourself, “Can you think of any parallel conditions, situations or issues in America today that correspond with the points listed above?” I can. I can think of at least one condition in America today for each of the points in this list.
Now, can you see any similarities between Trump and his supporters and Hitler? It you are honest with yourself, the answer should be, “Crap! Yes, yes I can.” The Left is not wrong to warn against the similarities, but it is wrong to call Trump, Hitler. Trump is not there — yet!
That said, the Left is completely blind to (or chooses to ignore and lie about) the FACT that it is COMMUNIST! The Right is correct when it tries to point out this fact, as well.
What we are witnessing in the U.S. today is what has always happened when a Republic fails, and we are failing for the exact same reasons all Republics fall:
THE CORRUPTION OF THE PEOPLE!
When the People of a Republic become morally corrupt, the nation follows. It’s leaders become corrupt, the laws become corrupt and everything fails. It is at this point that a tyrant can seize control and — historically — always has (up to this point, anyway). Hitler used the laws to take over:

The practice of using the law to subvert a nation’s constitution started with Wilson, at least in the modern era, anyway. The American Left has been doing this ever since Woodrow laid it out as a formula. But the Right has had more of a tendency to use military force. In America, it started with Abraham Lincoln and the illegal War of Northern Aggression (i.e. ‘Civil War’). Today, we see Trump threatening to do things without any consideration for whether or not it is legal — and his supporters are cheering it! Well:

The rule of law started with Moses, and our Founders knew it. They even pointed to Moses as a leading example for their system of government. Today, we champion men, and we affix god’s name to it. Well, there may well be a ‘god’ behind all of this, but I have to wonder which ‘god’ it is, because we are not doing things according to YHWH’;s TORAH:

Let me end with this:
I am not attacking Trump (yet). I am certainly not accusing him of being Hitler. However, I am well aware that the same conditions that gave rise to Hitler seem to be in play with Trump’s rise to power. I am also well aware that Trump is following many of the same patterns as Hitler, but then, the Left is following the patterns of Communism in Europe. I see both as a threat to America, our Founders’ ideals, and to YHWH’s People. Again, I am not saying the past has to repeat itself, I am just a watchman on the wall sounding an alarm to a possible threat. I can only hope that those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will see and hear and respond according to YHWH’s Word and Will.
