This Political Violence Lies at the Feet of American Progressivism

The roots of the modern Leftist violence in America goes back even farther than this story suggests, and it rests squarely at the feet of Woodrow Wilson and the Progressive movement.

Wilson expressly advocated the use of our universities to build a ruling elite who would operate free from government or democratic control.  In essence, he wanted to ‘nationalize’ the American people through the use of indoctrination disguised as education.  John Dewey advocated for the same thing through the use of the public school system.  Both men and their disciples embodied the spirit expressed by these men:

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.

–Vladimir Lenin

Why nationalize industry when you can nationalize the people?

–Adolf Hitler

Today, the end result of their agenda is being seen in the streets of America.

This Political Violence Didn’t Start in the Streets, It Started in the Halls of Academia

When Charlie Kirk was assassinated this month, it marked not the beginning of political violence in America, but the culmination of a movement that started decades ago. The roots of this crisis trace back to the classrooms of our universities, where speech was redefined, dissent demonized, and violence reframed as justice.
